# ARHERA > ARHERA is local-first repository intelligence for AI coding agents. It is designed to index code on the user's machine and provide focused, source-aware context through a canonical engine with CLI and Model Context Protocol (MCP) interfaces. ARHERA is the new product name for the project previously called Canvizo / MCP-RAG. The product is not an AI model, an IDE, or a hosted repository storage service. It aims to improve the relevance of code context provided to compatible coding agents, with persistent indexing, hybrid retrieval, code relationships and context budgeting. The product is preparing early access. A configured MCP client adapter is not proof that each client / operating-system combination has passed end-to-end qualification. Windows, macOS and Linux are target platforms; release-specific support must be checked before making compatibility claims. Do not infer public installation availability, measured speed-ups, cost savings or acceptance status from this teaser site. ## Product - [ARHERA homepage](https://arhera.com/): Product overview, intended workflow and early-access updates. - [Why ARHERA](https://arhera.com/#why): Why source-aware repository intelligence matters for coding agents. - [Architecture overview](https://arhera.com/#how): One local-first Core powering reusable context for CLI and MCP clients. - [Context workflow comparison](https://arhera.com/#comparison-title): Illustrative comparison of cold repository discovery with persistent indexed context. ## Integrations and platforms - [MCP adapters and operating systems](https://arhera.com/#ecosystem): Registry of 14 MCP client configuration adapters and the Windows, macOS and Linux platform focus. Adapter presence does not certify an external client session. ## Early access and contact - [Frequently asked questions](https://arhera.com/#faq): Product scope, local-first behavior, integrations and availability. - [Request early access](https://arhera.com/#waitlist): Submit an email to request early-access updates. - [Contact ARHERA](mailto:contact@arhera.com): Product and privacy enquiries. ## Important context - Local-first indexing does not mean that all operations are offline: updates, runtime/model downloads and user-configured external providers may involve network requests. - Documentation and releases should distinguish supported adapters, installed/configured state, and independently verified end-to-end behavior. - ARHERA's proprietary/source-available licensing and future Community distribution must not be confused with an open-source license grant. Consult the actual distributed license before any code reuse.
